Services

Fibre, civils, poling, splicing, survey — and the path to turnkey.

Clear packages for principals and tier-one contractors. We do the work we name here. We do not dress civils as consultancy or pad the list with trades we cannot resource.

Fibre cabling

We install fibre cabling as part of FND, Flex and rural build, working to principal specifications and site constraints. That includes blown fibre, cable pulling through duct, and the practical network build that sits around it.

  • Blown fibre and cable pulling
  • FND, Flex and rural programme support
  • Duct occupancy and build to principal spec

Fibre splicing and testing

Splicing and testing are treated as delivery, not an afterthought. We joint, splice and test so the network can be accepted first time, with records that a principal can file.

  • Fusion splicing and jointing
  • OTDR and power-meter testing
  • Test results and as-built documentation

Civils, excavation and duct

Civils is a core part of the business: getting duct in the ground, keeping the site safe, and leaving the surface in a condition that can be signed off. We cover excavation and duct installation, trenching and reinstatement, including pole pits and associated digs that sit alongside our poling work.

  • Excavation and duct installation
  • Trenching and reinstatement
  • Pole pits and associated digs

Poling and tracked-crane poling

We carry out poling as a named package, not as an afterthought on a civils job. That includes pole erection and replacement, and specialist tracked-crane poling where access, ground or overhead constraints mean a standard plant set-up will not do. Tracked-crane poling is used on the sites that need it — soft ground, tight working areas, and routes where a crane on tracks is the safe way to get the pole in.

  • Poling and pole replacement
  • Specialist tracked-crane poling
  • Difficult access and constrained sites
  • Pole pits and associated civils

Surveying and TRR

TRR surveying and preparatory work sit in front of the build. We walk and record the route, prove duct where required, and flag the constraints that would otherwise stall a gang on day one.

  • TRR surveying and route walkovers
  • Preparatory works ahead of build
  • Clear constraints before gangs mobilise

Towards turnkey delivery

RLBranch is set up to grow into turnkey packages: survey, civils, fibre, splicing, test and handover under one contractor. That is the direction of travel. We do not claim full turnkey delivery on every programme today — we take the work we can resource properly, and we add scope as capability and capacity allow.

  • Package thinking: survey to handover
  • Scope taken only when it can be resourced
  • A contractor built for tier-two growth

Openreach FND, Flex and rural programme language is used because that is the work. It describes the type of build, not a live framework award. Poling and specialist tracked-crane poling are a named offer, not a sideline on a civils package.

Send the scope. We will say if we can take it.

Tell us the programme, the location and the scope. We will come back with a straight answer on whether we can resource it.
